INVITATION

This summer, you are invited to participate in The Philanthropy Club's unique Secret Circle - Philanthropists vs. Gangs of London. The Secret Circle is a concept exclusive to The Philanthropy Club and is a private event between a carefully selected charity or social change project, specially invited guests and The Philanthropy Club.

Invited guests to the Secret Circle will have the privilege of using their creativity and experience to resolve challenges faced by a charity or social change project in one evening. As guests, you will discuss, explore and provide insight; alongside key influencers, disruptors, investors, entrepreneurs, city professionals and specialists who typically sit on the Circle. Together you can achieve more and in a focussed, fun and intellectually stimulating way, than when acting individually.

Secret Circles are hosted at exclusive and eclectic spaces in the City of London. They are inspired evenings that involve contributing ideas for good causes, networking with like-minded people and having fun nights out with a fine selection of food and drinks.

GANGS OF LONDON

Knife and gun crime on the streets of London has seen a dramatic rise in recent years. At the heart of the problem lies peer pressure, forcing young men into "gangs" and criminal activities as a rite of passage. A team of clinical psychologists have developed an innovative intervention programme which successfully turns young people and gangs away from a life of crime, whilst saving the government millions of pounds at the same time. In order to roll this programme out across London, these brilliant clinical psychologists face a number of challenges which they cannot resolve on their own.

The Philanthropy Club calls upon philanthropists, change makers, disruptors, investors, city professionals and entrepreneurs to come and help make a difference to lives of young people and to the streets of London in one evening. By coming together at a Secret Circle, you can help unlock the potential of a charity that dares to innovate within the ghettos of London.

What members have to say...

"The Philanthropy Club's Secret Circle was a truly unique experience. Even though we came together for just a few short hours, we were able to generate ideas to address modern day issues for this charity. The evening connected us as a group and showed me how we, as individuals, could bring our collective experiences together to bring about change for a charity that needed our help. It was very exciting and left an impression of limitless possibilities "

- Emma North Relationship Manager based in the City, Secret Circle guest

"As a charity, of course, we always need money - but we also need expertise and fresh thinking. We were delighted to be part of The Philanthropy Club's 'secret circle'. It was a step into the unknown – 'pitching' our cause and challenges to a group of strangers. But some of those strangers are now new friends helping us grow our ideas, push our boundaries and hopefully raise more money to help more people who need it."

- Colette Craddock, Development Director, The Prince's Regeneration Trust
